Ashtanga Yoga, being a dynamic form of traditional yoga based on breath and movement coordination (vinyasa), is both meditative and physical.
Ashtanga is defined by its coordinated work on breath (ujjayi breathing), drishtis (focused gaze) and bandhas (internal locks), through a unique sequence of postures flowing in a dynamic way.
This practice is a very complete one, easily followed by all, and extremely efficient on the physical, mental, emotional, and nervous levels. > Learn more
